Redlands Water & Power has notified us that expected start of water in canals will be April 14, 2026. Further information will be posted here as it becomes available.

At the RW&P annual meeting on February 11, 2026, it was noted that it is still too early to determine whether water restrictions will be necessary this summer due to the low snowpack and ongoing drought conditions. RW&P holds the second oldest water rights in the area, and most of its water is used for power generation to help offset electricity costs for pumping. If restrictions do become necessary, the likely approach would involve filling canals on a daily rotating schedule.
